I got mine in the mail. They were supposed to start awarding points on unsucessful draw starting this year, but no mention of points in the booklet. I called, they said next year, 2006 draw. So it would be a good year to go for drawing odds just to get a tag, then next year start holding out for the really primo ones.

Dawg, I agree with you.
I just hope they do a draw like New Mexico or Nevada where they look at your second, third or more choices rather than a California-style draw where only your first choice counts. You can kiss a GEN elk tag goodbye if you're putting in for limited entry. Ditto for deer--have wanted to hunt region G or H but there are several limited entry hunts I'd like to do there someday too.
But, I bet it's unlikely since only your first choice counts as it is now for hunts where demand exceeds supply. I doubt Wyo changes that.
