Southeastern Outdoor Press Association Membership:
Due to the catastrophic circumstances along the Gulf Coast, the 2005 SEOPA Annual Fall Conference will not be held in Morgan City, La. (scheduled Oct. 5-8, 2005) Though Morgan City is intact, travel through New Orleans is next to impossible and improvements are sure to be slow. Additionally, all resources throughout the Cajun Coast are needed to sustain relief personnel and refugees. Any hotel reservations already made will be canceled unless you contact me before Friday morning.
In lieu of a regular conference, SEOPA will hold an abbreviated conference in order to conduct necessary business. Side trips will be available and seminar options are being investigated. The exact location and dates are forthcoming.
If you have already registered for the conference and cannot adapt to the contingency plan, a full refund of your registration fee will be issued. Please be patient while we organize details. We will be in touch as quickly as possible.
