'08 hawg

It all on public, for those who are curious...I recommend any newer Mathews bow. I shoot the DXT, it's a little squirrely. That pig in the picture was at 40 high almost 50 yards ( no range finder), feeding away, hard quartering shot. With a Wackum' Triton broad head, I took out her heart and clipped a lung. The bow is set at sixty pounds, Easton Axis arrows etc.. I also shot a bigger boar (over 200#) at 60 yards and the arrow buried deep into his chest from his top/ back (steep down hill). It smashed through one of his lungs and took out his pump station. Both were short blood trails. The other under twenty yard hunts aren't as exciting to tell, as they usually are chip shots out of their beds sleeping or rooting around oblivious. God, I love bow hunting!
