2009 ELK DRAWING RESULTS

Got my draw for Wyoming ,... results were released today on the Wyoming F&G website at 10:00 am.

The great news is that I drew a limited quota tag. The bad news is that this is not the best time (Great Depression II) to spend $7K+ on a guide/tag/travel.

My buddy from ID drew, so we are on for another bow hunt. Region H is for deer and those results are not up yet.

What area is it called for the elk draw, I drew H last year for deer and we saw some good bulls up where we hunted. So if anyone drew just north and east of alpine. We can give you a starting point.

Most of and probably all of region H for deer is a general elk area, so it is hunted fairly heavily.

Unit 30

My boys (14 and 15) and I drew 3 any elk tags for unit 30 in WY. We are not familiar with the unit, but I think we drew a good one.
