Got my Wyoming elk on Wed. October 20th, 2010. My friend shot a spike out of the same group. It took 3 of us 8 hours and 3 trips to pack out both elk. Shot was 340 yards slightly downhill while he was bedded. A 180 Nosler E-tip out of my .300 WSM did the trick, stoked!

Colorado Bull and Antelope

My bull taken in unit 61 during 2nd rifle. Shot was about 220 yards. 300 RUM and 200grn TSX bullets.

Old buck antelope with a broken cutter taken in Eastern Colorado. Shot was about 200 yards off bi-pod.

Sorry, no 500 yard shots. I one of those losers who still thinks stalking is part of hunting.

My 2010 bull. Spotted him with some cows 370 yds above me on a scattered timber hill. I snuck around and up the hill to within 100 yds of them. When the bull fed into a clearing, I christened my new .300 Weatherby, putting a 168 gr Barnes TSX bullet just behind his shoulder. I then spent the next 4 hours dragging the halves down to my truck. I didn't take a camera with me hunting, so I took this picture the next morning at home.
