Just venting here...not sure where else to post.

I'm sure most of you are a little less naive than I was, but we have camera thieves at Lake Sonoma. My camera has been posted for quite a while on the yorty side (38.779966,-123.080332), yesterday I went back to check the camera to find it gone.

To whomever stole my camera...you suck and your momma should have swallowed you instead of birthing you.

About the lost/stolen camera, that sucks! I'm now worried about mine, though I do try to place it in out of the way places.
Why can't people leave other's stuff alone?

So how did the season go? I myself went 7 or 8 times since the opener at a few different locations. All were on foot hiking in from vehicle parking areas. In just the last nine days I hunted multiple times and put in about 30 miles of hiking according to my gps. I generally stayed on existing hiking trails. I don't know the area well enough to wander off too far. Plus, I found that the ground off the trails was quite loud to walk on so I was afraid of spooking anything. Got into pigs 3 times (plus once last November). Those three times were all in the same general area. Two of those times I actually saw pigs, but the vegetation was too thick to take a long shot. Some were really close, but not visible. The only shot opportunity I had was at a group of piglets so I passed. There were 3 adult pigs with them, but those were much further and partially covered with brush. All were seen very late in the day. Just before sun down.
I ran into two hunters that said they were successful. One of them said he go two pigs in two days, one after the other, if I remember correctly.
