I haven't posted in a while! I'm here to post the results of the April 2015 hunt I guided. I guided four guys from the San Jose area (thanks for the home-brewed beer & steak!). I'm also here to let you guys know that I changed the name of my business from Cottonwood Hunting, LLC to Smith Adobe, LLC. Same property, same hunts, but now you can find the information at www.smithadobe.com. www.cottonwoodhunting.com is still up as well, for now!

All in all, the guys got four pigs. Here is a picture of the river crossing (formerly where I had an orange canopy).

There was a piglet that ran across the river from here. At the time, none of my hunters were with me, so all I could do was pull out my phone and take a video!:

Here are some tracks, perhaps from the same piglet:

Later, I get a text from one of the guys. He got the piglet!

The rest of the hunt was a success, with a four pigs for four hunters. Here are some pictures:

There is an abundance of food around this land, all my pigs killed there had at least 3in of fat and the meat had a nutty flavor that I believe has to do with the pistaoes, almonds and wheat grown around this property.
