I think this one isn't online at all. Here's their blurb about successful applicants:
"Successful applicants will receive their permit, a map and additional information in the mail."

Ok, I got a report from the junior hunt this weekend. Weather was horrible all weekend. The south east half of the property is flooded beyond any type of accessibility. The north west half (I.e. The good part for those who know the property) is muddy but not flooded. However, the big tule patches where the hogs would bed, have been cut. The parking area, which is somewhat far from the hunting area, was a foot deep of mud. Rock had been delivered in huge piles, but the government employees were too "busy" to have it spread out. They talked to the president of the duck club on the property, who was very generous offering his help and atv if anyone needed it. He said the depredation guys had been hammering the property for the last few months, using boats in the slough and on foot, and didn't understand why the property had been managed differently this year.

The pigs seem to be residing in the deep water slough and vegetation. On Saturday while eating lunch in the pouring rain, they saw five very big pigs on the levee via binoculars. The kids did a stalk, but by the time they got within range, the pigs vanished. That was it for Saturday. Sunday, my buddy's son missed the only hog seen all day and came home in the afternoon. Ok, so I guess if the kids would have killed the only six pigs they saw, it would have been a successful hunt.

Apparently, the biologists that run the hunt didn't give a crap about the junior hunters this year or the general hunt for that matter. The girl that got drawn this year, also got drawn last year and coincidentally, her dad is a dfg biologist up north. I personally have applied for this hunt for the last ten years and never been drawn, but have assisted on a few hunts. My twin sons have applied four years as juniors and never been drawn. I'm not bitter about not being drawn-it's a fact of public land hunts in Calif. But I feel strongly about doing whatever is needed to make junior hunts as positive experience as possible for the kids and future of our sport. This was not that kind of hunt.

Rant aside, if you get drawn this year, use a shotgun and hunt the levee near the slough.

My friend took his girlfriend's son out and they ended up getting a small pig on Sunday around noon... I haven't heard the full report, but I did see a picture... I'll try to get details...
