423 Independence hunt

Thanks to Joe (DFGELK) for this info. I almost had sent my application in trying for 423 again. This pic is of the bull taken in this unit last year.

What about hunt 422 (I think)?
I sent in my app w/the Owens valley elk archery hunt.

Your ok it was just the Indy hunt that was nixed this year.

The quota for hunt 422 Owens Valley Archery Only Either-Sex is five tags for this year. The Independence hunt was the only hunt that the quota was set to zero (two of the junior hunts were not adopted by the commission, so technically there quota is zero. I hope that helps.

Bummer, I wonder if Colorado would lend Calif. 2 bulls to get the quota back to 7.
