Abe,
Great pics. What make of video camera and spotting scope did you use?? Auto or manual focus??? Did you use an adapter between the camera and scope or just hold the camera up to the scope??

Thanks in advance...........rut

RUT, I WAS SITTING THERE ONE DAY WAITING FOR SOME DEER TO COME OUT AND THOUGHT, I WONDER IF THIS THING WILL VIDEO THROUGH MY SPOTTING SCOPE. I PUT THE CAMERA LENSE UP TO THE SCOPE AND SURE ENOUGH I COULD SEE THE FENCE ROW 400 YDS ACROSS THE FIELD LIKE IT WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. I SPENT THE WHOLE NEXT DAY AT WORK BUILDING A BRACKET TO HOLD THE CAMERA AND SCOPE TOGETHER AND MOUNT THEM ON A TRIPOD. ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT IT IS VERY SHAKY WITH THE REALLY HIGH POWER. I SET MY CAMERA ON 10 POWER AND SCOPE ON 15 POWER. MY SPOTTING SCOPE EYEPIECE JUST HAPPENS TO FIT SNUGLY INTO THE CAMERA FILTER THREADS. I HAVE JUST HAVE A CHEAP WINCHESTER 15-45 SPOTTING SCOPE AND I HAVE A JVC 8MM CAMERA. I SET THE SCOPE FOCUS AND THE CAMERA JUST FOCUSES ON THE SCOPE LENSE AND SEES WHAT IT SEES ONLY WITH GREATER ZOOM.
