I don't get to go out with my boy much. He went with me for a look last March and darned if we didn't score one. A 25" beam 5 point side. I gave him the honors.

Half the fun of shed hunting is watching Tyler shed hunt and experience all the things about nature. He lives for it and my worst fear is when girls enter the picture. Figure I have two more years before they are a major threat to our days of tromping together.

Tyler's worse fear is running into a moose. It is open country here for the most part so getting lost is not a worry. He has found one moose shed and it is one of his most favorate sheds. He always hopes to find another, but hopes the moose isn't still there. Can't say I blame him as I've walked up on a few. There's that 20 - 30 second wait while they decide to check you out before trotting off. A cow and calf are bad news anytime you find them together and the last thing you want is getting inbetween them. Bulls are no fun during Oct/Nov when deer hunting but during shed hunting, I would rather much walk up on a bull then a cow with her calf. I've got a lot of respect for them.
