Some nice shots there. Saw a great photo opportunity in PA a few years ago with windmills in the setting sun. Unfortunately with cranky kids in the back from the long ride, I did not take the time to stop. Really wish I had.

Some nice shots there 5.9, thanks for sharing.

wtnhunt, I know what you mean about the kids...I missed a great shot this weekend of one of the lakes by me surrounded in snow (not too common in SoCal) that I had to pass on with Jr. in the back seat...

I shot the first three in macro. Its a still a little tricky getting used to this lens. Im used to shooting macros up close and personal but with this lens you have to shoot between 180 and 300. The wind mill was shot in landscape. We have some snow, I dont know how much snow we have but the only stuff that has stuck has been from this last storm.

Here are a couple from this morning, it was -8 out when i took these.

I can see those windmills by walking across the road. I have good shot oppertunities all the time but alot of time I dont have the camera with me. There was one a couple weeks ago when the sun was coming up showing on them and the moon was dropping right behined them. I was on my way to work and didnt have the camera or the time to turn around and go get it.
