G'day.I thought when I saw the last big horn My father found that I had the match. They seemed similar size (from memory) and the colour was right on the money.Well I finaly went down to the haul room and low and behold it matched a horn I had.But not the one I was originaly thinking.

It matched the old muddy one I picked up in the drain (empty drain)

Because of this I went and picked dads brains for the exact location of his find. His exact words were,"In the empty drain above the paddock" (haul paddock)."Down south end",I asked. So he pointed on an areial photo of exactly where he found it.

Wich just happened to be 100 yards south of where I found the muddy.Just the line a deer of this size would take, not come straight out in the open paddock. But stick to the drain out of sight (it's deep and you wouldn't see a car in it,so deer can run effectivly 8 miles without being seen)

Pictured is the muddy match. And the horn I originaly thought it would match (wich was 2 miles away, and bordering on to far away for a match) but nothing surprises me in this game. But stoked I have my largest scoring match to date....Gota be happy with that...regardless of condition.

Happy Hunting guys!!
Has your buck season started up that end yet?
