The Hunting Report has just learned that a number of US hunters headed toward Zimbabwe are thinking about flouting the ban on the import of firearms into that country. They may want to reconsider in light of the maximum penalties we just found out about. Seems one can be fined up to $1 million and sentenced to 10 years in jail - for every firearm they import. Also, a hard-nose prosecutor could impose penalties that large for every individual bullet a US citizen takes to Zimbabwe.

The Hunting Report is working to get the ban lifted. In the meantime, we advise against flouting it. - Don Causey, Editor/Publisher.
