Got a late season tag that's valid for 2 weeks for Los Padres national Forest in San Luis Obispo county.
Any thoughts on places that are accessible in this area I'm going to go up tomorrow and stay at cerro campground and try and hike in north of there a few miles to see if I can find anything and just use that as my base camp.

It looks like that same section of the forest there's a pretty decent place near some radio towers to hunt but the road looks a little sketchy not sure how it is this time of year.

Any other sections of Lost Padres in San Luis county that I should be looking at the tag specifies only lost Padres in that county.

I used to hunt east of Santa Margarita, but it was over 30 years ago and I remember we would just drive until we hit public land and put boots on the ground. Oh to be young again. Best of luck with your late season hunt!
