I was just shown a video with a clever aggressive title It was filmed in Tennessee but by some guys from the midwest I think. The name is Bristling boars.

Be careful about watching this with anyone sensitive. I'm serious! I am too sensitive for this crap! I felt like I needed a shower when it was over. It actually made me dirty and embarrased to be viewed as a hunter by others.

These arrow launchers eventaully kill 6 hogs but it's a sickening blood bath of unethical slobs. The main guys are bow hunting and are very likely the worst bow hunters I have ever seen in my professional hunting career. The very first shot is well over 40 yards and the hunters ( I use the word loosely) has his arrow bouncing in the ground 10-15 feet in front of the pig. I sat completely stunned that he missed by that much, How do you guess at that distance with an arrow. Especially with an alerted animal which can so easily jump the string, no rangfinder? I was grateful he did not gut shoot or wound the hog though. But wait there's more!

After a while of bumbling around with their arrow quivers banging and dropping arrows on the ground along with running up and down the hills with arrows knocked sticking out ready to spear through each other as they walk through the bush or trip and fall in the brush killing themselves. A more embarrasing display of incompetance would be hard to find, I'm dead serious no joking here. They are all packing side arms and utility belts as if they were on some back country endurance hunt in Alaska too. The amount of crap they were packing around was bizzare. Lights, big sheath knives, etc. wierd stuff.

Eventually they catch up with another hog and a different fella shoots at the pig while the pig is trotting. this arrow can be seen bouncing along the ground behind the pig. At this point I'm wondering what idiot edited this to actually document the completely incompetant bow hunters, or maybe I should say arrow launchers. Finally about 1/2 way through this he has another shot and this one too bounces low but must have bounced right up into the pigs belly. A few moments later the video shows these two guys running after a hog with the hogs guts trailling between his back legs. During the follow shots up another arrow is shot through the pigs snout. I'm about to just give up and walk away but it was like driving past a highway wreck I had to see how bad this would get. I wondered if it were actually posssible to get worse................it does!

They continue to miss shots and take very bad shots until one fella gets a decent opportunity and lets fly only to hit the pig in the neck. His buddy says great shot you nailed him. I don't know what he saw different then me but pigs shot in the neck with arrows are not a great shot. Although by the past measure of shooting this one was at least a solid hit into the body! Well the next five hours (so they said) is spent with these two jokers chasing this pig which is sick and hurt but not to the point it's easy to catch up with. They find it laying in a depression and ask one another if it's dead. They measure that they are 75 yards away. So they slowly sneak in and get to 30 yards when the shooter decides he will put another arrow into it when they see an ear twitch. The hunter draws and is 30 lazer measured yards and shoots. The arrow bounces into the ground about 3-4 feet in front of the boar.

They eventaully get it caught in a little draw and one guy spooks it towards the hunter. It is actually a brief moment of decent footage of the pig clicking its teeth trotting along and not paying any attention until he is right in front of the hunter, at that point stunned and angry the boar trots up the hill a bit closer for a better look at these two jokers and the hunter shoots agian. This "robin hood" hit it right in the hind quarter. So now the pig has been hit twice once in each end. The shot was probably 10-15 yards. They come off as it this boar was charging them but that too is a joke. it's not really possible to shoot a charging animal in the hind end from my experience! It was angry clicking its teeth together but once you have actually been charged by a big animal you can clearly see the difference!

There is so much incompetance in this video its a shame that it's a public item available to any anti hunting group. If this was shown to portray archery hunted game and believed to be how all archery hunting is done, it would very soon be illegal for bow hunting to continue. I have never in my life seen anyone shoot such random and careless shots ever. Finally nearing the end (thankfully)they have a chance at another hog and the hunter who gut shot the second pig says, That shot is too far I don't want to try that one. It was measured by his partner at 36 yards. Wow what a concept too far! My guess is that these guy have never hunted before and did not realize archerys limitations. Up til this point everything remotely in range was shot at.

There is a sequence of one fella shooting through a hog that runs off but his arrow stuck another behind it. Then after 2 minutes of grueling footage seeing this hog partly paralized and staggering around one fella says wow it's amazing how long that thing can live with an arrow in it.

I don't drink alcohol,....... however I'm convinced that this video is only to be seen by people who have had a lot of it prior to viewing!

I bought the Bristling Boars DVD awhile back and let me tell you its the funniest thing I've ever watched! My favorite part is when the fat guy is running up hill with a loaded hand gun and his finger on the trigger! I didn't know people in Tennesse were such hicks.

"Bristling Boars, Mayheim in the mountains for bow hunters with nerves of steel"...hot damn, they even have "exclusive hat-cam footage"

....I knew Tim Flynn & Mike Brown of the cleverly named T&M Outdoors wouldn't let me down......but holy shat, these guys are complete idiots.
<

They are scared to death of the pigs in this video...even though the pigs are farm raised and realeased the morning of the hunt (i know, 'cause i dated the daughter of the ranch owners......don't ask, long time ago..but she was pretty hot)...anyway, they damn near gut shoot every pig, walk with their fingers on the trigger of their "back-up" gun, and litterally trap the pigs at the high fence corner....then out of now where, boom!! a gun hunter from no where shoots the hog. It's the best display of what not to do i've ever seen.

If you want to see it, which i highly recommend, LureDiver has a copy.....but i guarantee you won't be able to watch the entire movie.....it's pathetic!!!!

You can send them fan mail at:
T&M Outdoors

Hey LD, i don't appreciate the "hick" comment....Tim & Mike are from Michigan
