Ok guys. Everyone has an opinion. I did not state mine in the beginning of this thread as negative. It was a sarcastic poke at just guy, that turned sour fast. I apologise for ever opening my mouth. I felt like a cornered raccoon and did get angry at all the cheap shots. i don't think it matters how many posts I have either, I post when I can or want. Just because I don't say good job or nice shot to every thread started doesn't mean I'm a nobody. And as for the "players on here"...unless they are god himself, I don't care about their status on a public forum. That was like putting them and you on a high horse looking down on the rest of us here. Post count means nothing to me. What comes out of your mouth is what means everything to me and shows what kind of person you are. I personally think the whole thread should be deleted. Bring back the original review from just guy to help others see what the place has to offer. As far as advertising... I moved back here from Utah after 8 years. I was looking for advertisement and found this thread. I did not know I had to pay to post here until my posts were deleted and I was told by Jesse. Hense my handle. Is it really that big of a deal? I can't afford the fee right now. I simply don't post my prices or contact info so I'm actually not advertising. Im proud of what i do. What you are doing is stating your opinion about me. In fact, I think it's safe to say your no better than any of us. Would it be ok if I said that I don't like your handle and you should change it? Or should I be the bigger man and just ignore you. By the way, I have not gotten one cent income from posting on this site. However I have gotten thanked many many times and have plans to help others this season. I , and others, can post pics of our art, kills, scenery, trucks or anything else with equality. I think we will let Jesse himself do the judging. He can ban me if he likes, he should delete this thread, and maybe sticky the rules about advertising, handle choice, and negative opinions on the welcome thread. That way others don't make the same mistake I did.

Fair enough, I'm glad you came back with a response. However, when I said "players on here", I was not referring to any type of status. I was referring to who they are on here, i.e., they type of person they are here on the forum. JustGuy is a straight shooter that speaks his mind withing tempering his words. Until you have taken the time to to understand him, his intent can easily be misunderstood. Underneath that hard straight shooting exterior, is a pretty nice and helpful guy, and yes, for him, his opinion and outlook is what works, even though it may not work for everyone. There has been a lot of opinion slinging arguments here lately, and for me it's getting old, but at the same time, I can not say that I have not been a part of them, because I clearly have, form time to time. But we here have much more in common than the differences we may have. I just think we should take a little time to understand the other guy, before we go bashing him or her. The vast majority here have lots to offer, even the new guys to hunting with their provoking question, or seemingly mundane questions of things long forgotten by guys like me that have been hunting the majority of their lives, and finding it to be a nice, and sometimes timely reminder. The bottom line is that the anonymity of the internet makes it easy to find yourself offended and instantly become an offender. But were all capable of taking a step back and re-evaluating the situation and making this place much more enjoyable than a place of argumentative Jerry Springer type of banter.

Lastly Ads, I do hope you stick around and allow us to get to know you. Additionally, best wishes in building your business!

^^^^^ well I am not being sensitive to what u said but I do feel offended and disrespected by your comments, as a veteran on here since '06 who put in the time with all my post to build trust and respect and special relationships with other members on this forum from all over the world and u say u want to disregard that, wow quite a shocker that u said that because it's a lack of respect from u as a NEWBIE. if anyone sounds like they are speaking from a high horse it's u by your comments and u sound a little conceded too. U think u are just going to school us already here on Jesses as a Newbie, Yeh Right...

I agree, we have a community here and are here to welcome and help others. I got p.o.ed reading just guy getting harrased, but I too know the cottonwood/adobe ranch story, not that I've been there. Best way to get to know others here is to ask and politely add to topics. I was once an asshole too...(animal house?) jk, lol when I joined here I had already quite a few hog kills at lake sonoma, but didn't come in as a know it all, (I think) but I sat back and commented when appropriate. Like bruce said, get to know others and what we're thinking, nobody likes the new guy to the party stirrin $ hit.

Tra, I get where your coming from, and I see how you could come to the conclusion you came to here. However, I am going to go out on a limb here and make some assumptions about Ads's intent with his last post because some of what he said resonated with me. However, I am going to do it in my usual anecdotal style.I have mentioned before here that I was once a member of a kayak fishing site that was taken over by a click of guys. They made nothing but glory posts that provided nothing useful but for their gloating and post suggesting that others do a beach launch in a dangerous area during very dangerous conditions, due to a phony hot bite; and they would be there to film guys getting tossed outa their kayaks, losing expensive gear, and risking death. They would then post their pictures, as if it were something to joke about. These guys were the guys with the highest post counts, the old timers that were around for the site inception, bla bla bla. But the bottom line with them, was that they provided no useful information. So I think what Ads was trying to convey was something similar. Post count and the time a person has been at a site does not always carry weight. We however have been here long enough to know who is who, what each others personalities is like, our intents and despite how poorly we may state something, we know what each other intended to convey quite often. So, knowing what we know about each other, we more often than not do not miss read each other.

Now if I am correct about Ads's intent in his previous post, and then reading your response, I can only imaging that he feels he has been doing nothing but, well, stepping on his own dick every time he comes here and comments or posts about anything. I can only imagine that at this point, he is simply afraid to make even one more statement for fear of, well stepping on his you know what once again. Now I could be wrong, but at this point, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. But then, decades ago I used to hunt with a taxidermist, and learned so much from him, so I can be partial towards some of them at times.

As the other guy that hunted with justguy on this trip, I gotta say I find this whole thread pretty dang amusing. Also, I'm a bit envious of of justguy...... I posted a similar thread/review in the CalGuns hunting sub-forum and only got three replies.

Talk about passions in ones beliefs, You all had very strong opinions and valid by your standards. But Thank goodness I haven't stepped on myself that hard. You Ring Kisser and us on other levels, still haven't quite figured that out, think I am still out sitting on the step are here of our passion of hunting, for the comradely and friendships.
