I have drawn the late season g37 mariposa hunt. Don't no much about the area other than some big blacktails come out of there. Any help would be appreciated. Also any one else draw this tag?

I’m a little late seeing this post, sorry. I drew a tag there seven years ago and can only say don’t shoot the first deer you see! These are mule deer from Yosemite and can grow a very large set of horns. If you’re there when a storm hits you’ll have a very good chance at a wall hanger. Camp and hunt out of Anderson flats and find a large clearing to watch for movement. I shot the first buck I seen, a 22” 4x4 during the first morning (snowing) then watched over a dozen larger bucks walk by during the recovery process. You’re lucky to draw the tag, truly a once in the lifetime hunt. :)
