Great pics Hatchet1! I love seeing those pics of you and your daughter. Whenever I see a pic like that I call my 6 yr old daughter in to have a look in hopes she will get more excited about joining me someday in the field. She has been with me twice when I've field dressed bucks and watched me cleaning geese and she has had no issues so that is a great start in my book. She also likes fishing with me so that is a bonus if the hunting doesn't work out. If you have any secrets about helping her gain interest feel free to shoot some pointers my way. On a side note, I noticed your beanie, what dept do you work?

well,i let my girl "guide" me on this trip,as you can see,its in her blood,
i had to pull the plug early on the trip as it had the makings of a real THANKSGIVING DAY MASSACRE

with the rain on and off all day,the hogs were out all day, seemed like we could not shake um

hunted 2 different ranches,both were be being rooted up pretty good and the hogs were thick,perfect for my daughter to call the ball,we ended up hammering 2 young boars,saw some real good tuskers,many sows that appeared to be with
child,let my girl call it ,and like a true professional,she made the perfect call on hammering the young boars,when i asked
why we were going to shoot only the young boars she nailed it with ,dad we dont want to eat the old stinky boars,you have plenty on the wall! and we dont want to shoot the mama's, it would be like killing 8! the young boars are in trouble

Now,if the sows were not prego!! any ways, truly a great hunt with the girl, once again, if
your not taking the kids out every chance you have, you really are missing it..

Great looking pigs and an awesome hunt. I've been trying to get my daughter into the sport too but she just can't seem to tough out the cold weather. I still have my fingers cross that she'll join me next year. By the way, where were you hunting?
