Air Rifle - Quail/Chukar

I read the DFG site and cant figure it out.... Can you take quail or chukar with an air rifle?

In my reading, it appears that yes its is ok. I do remember that for turkey, the regs do require at least a .20 caliber pellet.
You may want to check on PSP airguns Skyler McConahay leads quail hunts on occasion. You can find his posts on network 54.
Also check out airgun hunting quarterly. Jim Chapman runs it and there are a number of nat'l airgun hunters there. Best!

Yes, you can hunt quail with an air rifle, any caliber, but turkey require a .20 caliber pellet.
