Congrads to headnurse
<

The contest ended last night at midnight.
The correct answer was 12-17-2003. This was the guess from headnurse:
"Hmmmm, 12-16-2003 sounds good?? Of course, if I win it will brake my 38 year losing streak, maybe I shouldn't guess?"

Hee hee, sorry about breaking that winning streak!

headnurse,
I'll send you an email later today for the specifics on what kind of setup you want.

All,
Thanks for the comments and the good guesses. Check back at:
Snapshot Sniper (scroll to bottom of page for board) in the next few days and I'll have new info for the controller boards. There will be a version that has the sensor on the front or back of the board.

The program is now set up so that you select what type of camera (ON/OFF or always on), refresh duration, and how long to wait to press the shutter after power up. By being able to select this yourself, it will work for just about any camera out there that can be controlled with three wires, so if you change to another camera in the future, you should still be able to use the same setup.

Changes since 1st post.
- The board now draws 49 micro Amps. In my 1st post I stated 38. Some of the features I've added since then have increased the power usage a little, but it should still run on a 9V battery for 8 months or so.
- The control panel looks a little different now to incorporate the PIR facing out the front if that's the setup you want.

Thanks to all,

I know I could e-mail directly, but don't want to be a pest since I know these board builders are VERY busy. So, for anyone that may have ordered one of these I'm checking, and I am testing everyone's age and memory--

Is it Soup Yet?????

Who remembers that phrase? And has anyone heard?

uh oh, is that considered hijacking a thread? I'm never sure, but I did change the subject a bit...

headnurse,
This thread is about you, so you can hijack it any way you want.

"Is it Soup Yet?????" Hmmm, guess I'm not old enough to know what that one means?

Had to talk to the wife to make sure... "Is It Soup Yet"? She says it means "dinner is ready". Some is complete in other words. When the wife (or whoever) was cooking she would say "Soups done" even if there was no Soup, that's when everyone would come running for dinner, they knew it was ready!

Just one opinion on the answer, might be more

It's from an old soup commercial, don't remember the brand for sure, but that was the big catch phrase. I think from the '70's... uh oh, my age is showing.... I remember lots of people walking around asking 'is it soup yet?' all the time whenever they wanted to know if something was done. Wow. I thought someone on here would be old enough to remember it.... I'm not THAT old.....
