Anticipation

The night before you leave for your vacation, elk hunt, deer hunt, etc. You spent the last three or more months planning it all out. You have packed everything you need. Planned each and every stop along the way. All the bills are paid, house is in good shape, yard is mowed, trash is out. Everyone knows where you are going. Turn the work phone off, kiss the wife and kids goodbye. Now it is time to relax and enjoy what some call heaven. Good luck to all that are headed out this season. Be safe and enjoy.

What could be better ? Taking the wife and kids. They go with me on most all my hunts.

Worked 40 hours straight on a case the last two days, went home slept, mowed the lawns, played with the kids, back at work and then heading to Co in exactly 12 hours and 17 minutes. 16 days to fill my deer and elk tags. I am pumped, packed and excited!! Took the kids and wife to Disneyland a few days ago and finished most my honey doos, I'm ready. Ed F

We home school our kids. My daughter graduated this year, she's 18. My son is still being home schooled, he's 16.

In one week from today I intend to be camped somewhere around Grand Junction.

One week from this time tomorrow night, I'll be in elk camp.

Two weeks from today, I'll be packing my gear and my meat on dry ice for a long drive home.

I'M FREAKIN' OUT!!! ARE WE THERE YET???

I'm outta here a week from today around noon. I should have camp set up by dark. I'll have 8 and a half days

If necessary, I'll be back up there later in the season for an extended weekend or rifle hunt.
