Any Hog Hunters in Texas???

Howdy ..I'm new to these boards and I'm from Texas and I was wondering where most of ya'll are located at..From reading a few of the posts I'm guessing that most of the folks are from Cali...not really sure though...Well I'm registered now so if ya'll dont mind a Texas fella postin' around here than I'll join in on the fun...

I think a lot of people are from California (me too), but certainly not all.  I know there are several threads about hunting various critters in Texas, so either there are other Texans here or people don't mind the drive.

In any case, welcome to Jessie's.  You're sure to like it.

Hank, I live near Austin. This is the best all around board I have been able to find out there! The wife and I are going south of Zapata this weekend, she for a javelina to mount and I to put some more pork in the freezer. Whereabouts are you?? Welcome to Jessie's! (shh, I hear they give away rings if you stay around...hehehe..)

I live at Canyon Lake in Comal County. It's about 12 miles West of IH 35 Down FM 306, the exit just outside of San Marcos..There are a pretty good amount of hogs around the lake area. I do  alot  of trapping since I don't have as much time to hunt as I would like to. I do have 7 pigs in my holding pin though and as soon as I get my cooler fixed I'm going to be butchering the heck out of pigs. Thanks for the welcome. Your right about this site. I've only found one other site that has this many forums...It's a good site to learn a lot about things your not really sure about....Adios'

Hank, I know where you are, I used to live in Converse and have a lot of friends down that way. Most of them have moved out near Fredericksburg to get away from the city 'life'. If you find yourself in need of some help hunting those hogs, I'll be glad to help out :-}! I saw you over on Tx-Outdoors as well, small world.... Man, that BDO boar had some teefus on him!!
