Hi larrysogla,

Hello! Area 29 is always the place I recommend to hunters whenever they ask which TA is the best. The only thing is it's a shotgun, muzzleloader, and archery area only. There's always signs of piggies in 29. I'm not sure of the water level yet but I'll find out for you :) It rained a little bit the past couple of days but not much. My records of harvest in area 29 is almost 1-2 a week.

Good areas are also TA's 30, 10/13, and 24. Hopefully we'll be back open soon! I'll keep you posted :)

Hogs had plum tore up the north end of 30 when we turkey hunted there 2 week ago. Looked like every night they were in there.

Look in the creek that parellels Jolon Rd. on the west side. Ease down the creek at daylight and be ready for some fast shooting.

Another good spot if you like to hike is back by the ASP (Ammo Supply Point.) It's marked on a base map. Far SE corner of 30. Find the creek near there and ease down it too. Careful you don't drift into the ASP. Them ammo boys have no sense of humor.
