Anybody in here a member of Golden Ram hunt club

I m just curious...is anybody in actually a member of Golden Ram huntin club...and if u r...how is the huntin??? I m thinkin of joinin but need to kno if they r legitimate....any info would help plz..thak u

I used to be a member for a couple of years. They have some very nice properties. The issue had I had is
the when applying for a hunt on the best most productive properties the same top people had the spots.
I found that a little to odd for a club that is to be above board. However there very nice folks.

so if i read that right. The same good old boys always get the nice hunts and the extra members that also pay the fees get stuck with whats left??? If thats true. It sounds to me like just a way to make it good for sum guys and take advantige of others.

It is first come first serve. They have some real nice property's up in Bzone. Shoot and they had one property (BarZ 24,000acre) that had 900 acres burned in that Yolla Bolly fire this year. So for the next 3-4 years that is gonna be pretty nice for members to have private access to the Burn. That means ALLOT of Bucks are gonna be taken outta there. I'm planning already to hunt the burn but, accessing through public land being I'm no longer a GRAM member!!!

I’ve been a member for awhile now and truly enjoy the club. I think they would over book a club before they would turn somebody away and I think that is their biggest problem. With too many people on the ranch it is at times hard to get away from people and there will usually be the party camp in the camping areas that want to keep everyone else up very late. I grew up hunting private ranches and wouldn’t put it in the same category as far as the deer hunting goes, but the pig hunting is. Unlike public land you do not have to worry about people getting into your truck or camp and there isn’t the same level of people shooting just to shoot. Obviously the weekends are much more crowded than during the week, but I haven’t had problems getting on the ranch of choice with a little planning. I’m not trying to be a downer on the club, but rather trying to give you realistic expectations. There will be some to a lot of other people on the ranch, but with me hunting there 5 or 6 times per year I spend more on fuel to get there than I do for my membership. I shoot pigs and shoot or pass up legal deer every year so for me it works

I have been a member since 2005. The hunting is what you make of it. You will have to put your time in and learn the ranches. We have members that road hunt and members that are diehards. Every ranch has the ability to produce some good animals. As for pig hunting GRam has a few properties that produce some good pig hunting. As for not being able to get reservation for a ranch. I have never talked to a member who has been denied access to a ranch. To me it is well worth the money. The camps are secure and the most of the people are great. If you need more info let me know. I can also show you some picture of my families success.
