No joy for my brother or myself in New Mexico this year. For good measure we also whiffed on the Valles Caldera hail mary.

I drew my 4th choice, and got stuck with a Cow tag in unit 21b for december, If anyone has any info on this unit I would greatly appriciate it.

Hank4elk reporting from Pie Town, NM. Just drove over today saw elk and antelope as soon as I got here! Greener than I expected in N. AZ, and NM! Good rains so far looks like with monsoon season starting the 14th...will go scout my unit later in week w/Magurley!

Yes that is what I did again this year. I had a voucher lined up if I did not draw. If you have any intel on 13, I am all ears...

Don't think you'll need a camm..elk everywhere and antelope. Awesome. The cows are even huge! Been very dry with no rain in most areas,but it started today ,Monsoons. Heading for the Jemez to hook up with Magurley and check my unit.

In the Jemez Mnts.at the MaGurley compound ...nice! Going to check some spots and go into the Caldera to watch the big boys. Very green up here, should be a good year. This place is awesome, and the MaGurleys are the best! Man... his racks are something else!

What a cool site this is! I met up with hank4elk here in October of last year and finally got to meet him in person yesterday. I must say that this is what hunters are all about. Friendly people make great friends for life, so I must say thanks to JHO for hookin hank and I up.

Big ditto to this post from Ma Gurley,this expierience is what I hoped I would have with a site as this. Getting together with real outdoors folk. I cannot thank Mike and his wife and little baby enough for a great visit and now a friend for life. And now I have met another JHO'er in person.
