After a couple weeks of discussion me,my bro and my father have decided on April 25-27 to hunt TEJON for pork. We were trying to make it to the JHO Tejon may hunt but my bro had plans for that date that couldn't be changed. Anyways, if anyone else gonna be hunting that weekend let me know. I'm new to JHO and only have one bowhunting trip to Sonoma under our belts as far as experience for pigs go. Oh yeah! anyone have any advice on where to look for the porkers on the ranch. Its my first time at Tejon and I will take all the help I can get.

You'll love it. It's a wonderful ranch. April can be tough. Send me an email and I'll try to help you.

Get up high on the ridges before first/last light and glass glass glass....and take your time, when the pigs are on the move they will cover lots of land so if you don't see them at first hang on they will show.

About 4:15 this afternoon I saw a couple of meat pigs under the oak trees as I drove past the ranch north on the 5. I think they were out earlier because it was much warmer than yesterday.
