Hi all,

Hope everyone is doing well. I NEED to go hunting... having severe withdrawl symptoms
<
. Found an add on craigslist for pig hunting near the Sutter Buttes/Maxwell area. Called one of the guides up and seemed like a nice guy. His operation is that he has access to a total of 20,000 acres and a large bunkhouse, caters to both archery and rifle (probably shotgun too, but I did not ask). Sounds like a great operation. The cost is $400, and an additional $100 if you want a second pig. Not bad. Here is his snipit from their website..

For 20 years we have been hunting some of the most productive wild pig properties in Northern California, including 4 ranches with over 20,000 acres at our disposal.

We provide field dressing and ATV transportation (although you are welcome to bring your own if you like). If you need, we can arrange for butcher processing and even put you up in an historic cowboy house including a home cooked meal overnight!

It's an adventure of a lifetime so don't hesitate!

Anybody ever hunt with these guys?

I spoke with him also. I asked for some references and he was pretty hesitant. I posted here a couple of weeks ago about them but didn't get any replies.

The first time I spoke with him on the phone he told me it was $300 per person and $200 for a junior. The second time I spoke with him was after his Craigs List advertisement and the cost went up to $400, $300. I asked for references again and still nothing.

This has been my experience.

Thanks for the input.
I think I do remember seeing them at the Sac ISE, but did not talk to them. Looked like more of a duck operation when I walked by. Nothing against duck hunting, I used to be quite the quack addict. Just never went back after my Chessie died.

If I use them I will be sure to let everyone know.
