Anyone fishing the Trout opener

Will be fishing Convict Lake on Sat. A.M. then the Mammoth area the next several days.
Any other JHPers fishing the eastern Sierra opener?

FYI- to you guys. I drove up for the opener last year on saturday morning. My plan was to go to Convict first and go on from there. I got there about 4 AM. The rangers had already started letting people into the lake. The parking around the lake was already full. I had to park down by the store and hike in. The entire lake was surrounded by anglers. Good luck and go early.

I'll be out there if I can get some work projects out of the way.

I don't have a JHP sticker, but maybe i'll make a temporary one just in case.

I imagine its gonna be wicked crowded out there though.

Thurs. we are going to fly fish the PV Res. and the Lower Owens. On Sat we will fish the Bishop area.

Karstic, Not exactly sure where I'll be on the opener.  But all the JHPers should try to meet at some point to say hello.
