Anyone have access to private land? Willing partner

Tho - Where are you located? I need to know, I'd hate for you to have to drive all the way down to So Cal from the bay area just to pick me up for a fishing trip on your boat and then have to drive me all the way back home after I caught my limit and you got skunked... That would suck for you... Oh, did I mention I don't have any private land to hunt... I'll be ready day after tomorrow to go.

tholihan, just switch the shoe, without so much as an introduction you basically walked up to a bunch of hunters sitting around the campfire and asked to be included in something that they either don't have, have had to work their entire life to be able to afford, have to pay out the arse to lease, or have negotiated access to through years of good deeds. Now that you have made yourself human by telling about yourself, you are much better off to meet up with someone.

I wish I could help out, but you see, my plate is full. After fishing with LD the other day, I was reminded, once again, that taking a shoe salesman into the outdoors is like taking a kazoo deer hunting.

1. we dont shoot pigs we hunt them for food!

AS, he is kind of moody today? Looks we will be the only ones hunting those ranches in Tehema Co. this year. BTW, the lower ranch may be open for a little pig hunting and fishing this weekend

Heck, I'll even take you to some private land where I'm pretty sure you'll get a good shot at some pigs. Of course, while you're hunting, I'm gonna be somewhere else because I don't wanna be around when the cops show up to bust you for tresspassing.

It ain't MY private land, but it's private.

TH, you didn't make much of an entrance, but you're lucky with the thick skin. You've offered up something to trade (fishing), so odds are a little better you'll find someone interested in sharing some hard-earned private property hunting.

You can come pig hunting here in Texas tholihan. I almost hit 3-4 pigs one night while driving outside my neighborhood

The funny thing is, offers like his would be praised by many ranchers around here. My cousin has been begging me to come lighten the pig population on her cattle ranch. She dislikes pigs very much.

Tholian I couldn't shoot you an e-mail but you can e-mail me. I am going to concentrate on deer and bear in the D zone ranchs near Caliente if your interested after deer season for sure I will concentrate on pigs. keep Sonma Lake in mind it is public but acess to pigs is by boat only and hunting is archery only.
