Anyone have any luck at Vandenberg lately?

I'm getting a couple Marines together to go out to Vandenberg with me and I just wanted to know how things look out there right now. I'd like to plan for mid Feb or Mar.

Right now I'm sure it's pretty wet there. I plan on going there over the 3 day weekend this month. Hope it doesn't rain then. The pigs are there though. just gotta find them.

Is the water a good or a bad thing? I'm thinking about going out there on one of the holiday weekends in Feb or Mar.

I know a lot of Marines in the Murrieta/Temecula area.

There is a lot of military out this way it is less costly then Oceanside but not by much..

I was there right before Christmas, went to area 2A at 0830 and at 0930 I came out with a 62 pound boar. I shot him with my shotgun while he was running through the brush. He had the typical boar hair in the back like the razorbacks.
He was very good eating.
