Anyone hunted on Kona recently for feral sheep or goats?

Will be in Kona at end of January and interested if anyone has experience on the free-range feral sheep and goat hunts there.

I just got back from there. I hunted high up Skyline Rd. in the Mauna Kea GMA. Did not see one sheep. It was the weekend and there were a lot of bird hunters blasting away so it was tough hunting.

I did on Monday. How do they know?

Was just up Mauna Kea saw a Ewe while driving down but she dissapeared in the thick brush.

I got back from My hawaii trip which consist of hunting on Maun akea. It was a successful trip see my posts sheep hunting.
