Been thinking of hunting up there but haven't had the chance. It's ML or slug only and a rather large area. Outside of the obvious closed areas are the areas to avoid or not to waste time in?
Most of it is wide open rolling oaks. I fish the lake alot and have never seen a pig there. I see sign once in a while. There are a fair amount of pigs on the adjacent private ground. If you google the area you'll see what I mean on the lack of cover.
I too have fished there quite and havent seen any pigs around the lake. i have family that owns land back behind the lake in the oak hills and they do have some dandy pig hunting.
