Anyone hunting Coalinga?

friends and I were thinking about hunting Laguna mountain. New to boar hunting but am interested to know whats there. I know theres a very small chance of seeing any boar but any information about the place would help. Also looking for any potential hunting partners that would be interested in going with me sometime. Thanks

Colinga is a hit an miss area an if you hit then your a lucky
guy, that place is cool if you pay to shot a pig at someones
ranch.don't get me wrong people have taken pigs out of their
just not in the numbers to brag about.do you live a close to that
Area an is that why you want to hunt it? There is better public

I would go to Fort Hunter Liggett, much better odds. Laguna can be brutal on a new guy. If you looking to hunt during the week, then FHL would be out. I would try the other BLM lands around coalinga before I hit Laguna, but that's just me. Good luck either way, it's always better to be hunting then at home or work.

I thought the pigs were more plentiful up north?? I guess we got pigs and they get everything else.

Its a tough hike out there. Just got back from there today. No pig sign but there is DEFINITELY a lion out there.
