It will have to be an over the counter non res tag.. As in I dont have them yet??? Please advise?

I am completely open to any area? As long as I can get a tag and have an honest chance at getting on a shooter!!
From Craig to Rifle with any local guide that is worth a shot you will have great opportunity. Without a guide last year two brothers and I saw several elk cows worth shooting. I did not get a chance to shoot but over 12 were taken close to me. This was with just beginners luck and my brothers prior trips to the area. Compared to hunting D14 in California it was like looking for teens at the mall.
This year I will be in the same area with a few weeks lead scouting and hiking. I should definitely get an elk this time. Where are you from and maybe we can hook up. I am not a scout or guide but I can share a hunt. A couple others are also considering it too. 1st Rifle cow tags are easy to get OTC. A quad and strong legs are required as well as a good 4 season tent. Snow has been low last several years so this may be a good dump year. I think great for hunting too.
