I was up snowmobiling over the winter months and there was hardly a deer track to be seen. Saw more wolf tracks than deer. The only spot that had lots of deer sign was around Blaisdell lake because the tavern there was feeding them right in the yard. Saw one nice 150 class 10-point right on the trail about a mile from there and saw a few smaller bucks at the bait pile. It's hard for me to get motivated enough to go up there and look for sheds when there may not even be a deer in 1 square mile of land much less it happening to be a buck.

I got in 4 hours last Friday, my longest trip to date. came back empty handed except for a roll of film from the game cam, this pic was on the roll guess I should do some more concentrating in this area. (btw I'm sure this is a buck I passed up in gun season.

this one was also on the roll, looks like a buck that's already dropped, course this pic was from about mid-Feb (busy with work, couldn't get out to check it as much)
