Anyone Want To Try Carrizo Sunday?

Heading to Carrizo on Sunday. Haven't been this year, but have killed a couple of hogs over there. The area we hunt isn't huge, but we have been fortunate. It is a nice hill between two steep canyons. I promise one thing. You will see deer, quail, coyote, elk or hogs. Or maybe all of them. It is public but not well traveled we walk in about 1.5 miles. A friend found this place while deer hunting, He saw some hogs and wanted me to go back. I wasn't too keen on going, but quail season was close and I figured I would chalk it up to quail scouting. Low and behold Saw pigs in the first bush we came to. I have always seen fresh sign. Once found poo so fresh when I stepped on it water oozed out. Don't want to sound like this is a guarantee, but You will at least have fun. Post here or PM me. I think it would be cool to meet someone from the forum.

If I didn't have to work, I'd try to round up some other Rifenbarks and make it out. At any rate, thanks for letting us know.

It is about 1.5 miles from a maintained dirt road. I definitely think you could bowhunt there. I shot one hog at 40 yards and one at 50 yards. One hog weighed about 75lbs. the other about 275.
