Man, is it time yet? I can't hardly stand it! All this chatter on the March and April hunts is getting me kinda worked up.

I'll be ready to crawl after them in the thick stuff this time!

Can't wait. Just figuring which broadheads to use. I've got some 150 grain Simmons Interceptors I think I might try. I've got some broadhead adaptor inserts for the Legacy shafts that I typically use. It will either be those, or weighted Wensel Woodsmans (bumping them up to 150 with a different adaptor). Need to hit the foam block with them a few times to test them out. Sharpened up the big knife too. All set to go, just need to pick up some pig tags. Went to pick up pig tags this past weekend and they were sold out!!! I'm guessing Arrowslinger has been buying up all the tags in nor cal :) just kidding.

Buckeye... so we'll have another trad archer on the hunt?!? Bueno!

I'm shooting 140gr Magnus Journeyman broadheads. They fly pretty good for me, from my limited experience. Time to break out the sharpener and get set. Hopefully I'll get to tune up on a turkey between now and then.

Speckmisser, yep, I'm a traditional guy. I shoot a 60 pound longbow. Hope we get a shot opportunity, it's always great to see success with the trad gear!

The hogs are there, Buckeye. I had a shot last time, but the hog turned just as I released and my shot passed across his shoulder. No blood, no foul.

Looking forward to May, though. Should be a blast!

For those attending the May hunt; be sure to bring plenty of Judo points for the mid-day ground squirrel slaughter.

Anybody know what the moon phase will be for this hunt?

Speck... Nice knife.

So we're gonna have three trad shooters on this hunt. Cool.

I am so ready to go huntin' right now. Over the last couple of days I've caught up on my sleep, cleaned up my gear and got it ready for the next hunt. I don't know if I can take a six week lag.
