Im living down in Argentina (born and raised in Mission Viejo, CA) and have been for 2 years!! Brought my bow (Bowtech 101st Airborne) and well I had that feeling, that need to go hunting so bad feeling and well came back with this 150 kg Boar!! Open crop fields so the terrain was pretty hard to get a good spot and stalk, but luckly there was a little creek that runs through some cornfields and thats where I found him...He started trotting away and i didnt have a great angle to get a clean shot, so roughly around 30 yards I got one shot off but a little too foward. He ran maybe 10 yds and stopped at 40 yds quartering away and I nailed em..Arrow went through both lungs and I got a piece of the heart..didnt run 20 yds and he fell to the ground...now I have my freezer filled with pork that'll last me quite a bit!! Bowhunting in Argentina is awesome and they got some really big boars!! Local guide had never seen anyone hunt here with a compound bow and as a matter of fact he told me I was most likely not gunna be able to take him, so he brought his rifle just in case, but glad i prove him wrong and glad that I got the opportunity to take the boar with my bow!
