Had some work to do up in the foothills so I decided to slip into a lil patch of heaven I know that almost always holds hogs when the grass dries out and the temps go up.

Settled into the shadows with my 10x's and watched/listened and within 30 mins it was Pig Central.

The sun was warming thigs up and this water hole was like a magnet for the 8 hogs that decided to risk walking past me and my hiding spot.

100lb boar with a nice red coat walked by at 15 yards and I sent a clean shaft from my recurve knock deep into his chest.

Now he's relixing in the cooler waiting to be ground into some spicy breakfast sausage.

Will post pics later, for now I have to get to work like I was suppost to this morning.

What a life!

Once Tejon hogs migrate to Frazier Park, I'll relocate there, shoot myself a pig before dressing up for work by 7a.m.

I promise.

Being the dork I am I shot the photos on the 35mm and the BOSS wont let me take it in until the roll is full.

But that lil guy tastes GOOD.

Cubed up a few pounds and made Chille Verde then ground the rest for sausage.
