AZ Draw results!!!!

Nothing for me. Looks like I will be hunting archery deer over the counter tag. Coues you did not say, did you or your boy pull anything?

My son got a youth tag in 23 and I got a whitetail tag in the same unit. No elk, antelope, or sheep though.

Drew rifle 6B for elk, my 2nd choice.
Also drew antelope 19B, was really surprised on the antelope draw.
Still trying for 13B for deer, maybe next year.

19B is a very good unit. You should have no trouble getting an 80"er if you are patient and don't pull the trigger on the first decent buck you see.

I got early rifle bull elk for 3a/3c/ .. What do I do now!!! Any help ? Has anyone hunted that area? what is it like.? Can one do this alone? Are there motels near Show Low?

Do a search on ShowLow, you'll find hotels.....I've hunted other untis, not the 3's...There are great elk in AZ, you'll be ok!

A reason to change states.......I did NOT get drawn for deer or cow elk-again. Gee, I even put in for the less popular areas.

Last year I hunted deer in Minnesota with family. Did not get one that time but at least I could hunt and got to see lots of animals.

You can do it alone. Hunt some of the more remote areas along the Reservation border. A big part of the area burned a few years ago. Now it is a 400,000 acre Elk pasture.
