I was just browsing through this and stumbled upon your "reminder". This gives me two days to make my plans (to apply).

I'm new to AZ, so I haven't gotten all the AZ processes figured out yet!

Thanks, Jesse -

This website is a great resource!

I turned in my application on the last day for the January archery hunt in the Willcox area which will be something new to me, since I usually hunt 36b, we will have to wait and see what happens.

Rocky,
Welcome to Arizona, if you need any info let me know.

A "Favorite" unit in Region 3 is 18B,to many N.R. in past years. Many Nevada plates here, but if the 10% rule goes into affect this Spring,as Az Comm.says will,Look for this hunt to be as hard to draw as a "Early" 12AW Deer tag

Yee haw....
I just checked on the AZ game and fish website and I was drawn for areas 27,27,29,30a,30b,31 and 32 for the January archery hunt. I have never hunted these areas for pigs, but I can't wait.....

I'm going to the San Carlos reservation with some archery club buddies in Jan. It should be a great time.

My buddy and I got drawn for 20B archery only javelina. We're looking forward to it. The both of us will be there MLK weekend but I'm hoping to go by myself for the first week of January, too.

Anyone familiar with 37A for pig? It's close to home, and from the AZGFD webpage it appears to be a good unit for javelina.

Aww, Ron... now I really feel bad! You were the one that suggested that unit for Sal and I. Now Sal goes and draws your tag!

If you're available when we're out there you're more than welcome to share our fire, but I wouldn't expect you to make the drive just to show us where to go. Do you think we should consider deer tags for that area?

Thanks, Guy

So Sal is the one who took it!! Actually dont feel to bad I can archery deer hunt all month. I was thinking that I would like to come up and help out a day or two so just let me know and I will. Hard to say on the deer tags, I have seen some nice desert muleys in there, however they are far and few between. If I say dont and you get a chance at a nice one I would have to sneak home. So the best I can say is MAYBE yes MAYBE no. Does that help?

I guess I'm stupid - or this AZ spring draw thing is too complicated for me -

My application was rejected for insufficient funds, even though Game and Fish cashed 2x $44 checks (Liscense fees for Buffallo and Javelenia), a Javelina tag $and Bufallo tag check...

This whole AZ thing is way too complicated (and in my opinion, excessively beraucratic), where you have to send in in money for lisenses with each tag, then get refunds for the unused portions.

Reapplying for one of the 42 HAM tags in Unit 33 today.... Good luck to me...

Rocky

OBTW: At least I got my 2006 Lisence.....
