AZ results are up!

DLS,it took 17 bonus points to draw this antelope tag.I hope its as good as I have heard.

That unit has potential for 85-90" bucks. I have 18 points for next year, so I'll be interested in knowing how you do. Are you going with an outfitter, or doing it on your own?

I'm going on my own as I only live 2 hours away.I'll have plenty of time for scouting.Began building points as a California resident but didn't draw till moving here.I have had antelope tags in Cal,Wyoming,Utah and N.M. while waiting for this tag.

My son drew the 6A Juniors Only cow tag, and my brother the October rifle bull tag in 6A. Well at least I get to go with them.

IT Dan - do you have your loyalty point for the AZ draw ? If so don't break the chain of putting in for the elk hunt every year or you lose it. That should help as well.

I didn't see it on the roster, but I'm told that it'll show up in a few months along with the preference point. I'm scheduled for the field test in June so I'll be able to add the permanant bonus pt as well. Well, maybe next year....
