Welcome home and cant wait to hear some of the tales by the fire and a cold drink.
the cabins definatly gonna need another wall!
I just got back to walking this week and should be driving by next week, Shooting in another 6wks!
Another miracle of modern medicine.

Chop,
I just finalized the power of attorney's for my mounts from Jhoburg,and YES it's going to hurt.Seven shoulder mounts and backskins and it's $!%$#! alot.Oh well,I'll have them for a long time,if they come in one piece.
Show us more pic's.........Gemsbok,Springbok,Waterbuck,More......more....Please!

Although the zebra was the first critter I took, We didn't see many and they were pretty skittish. They were not easy to get close too. I got lucky and found a herd in an area where a fire had come through a few weeks earlier. I made a 170 yard shot quartering to me and the bullet exploded in the shoulder. I was very lucky that 2 small fragments of the bullet made it into the heart. I would not recommend Nosler Accu Bond bullets to anyone in search of large heavy boned game.

As far as the whole safari experience goes, some people go once and it gets in their blood.
For me, been there, done that, wont go back. I had a great time but dont see a need to do it again.
