Did your outfitter charge you for it ?
Did you try and get a chamois or tahr on public land ?

I did not have the time or $ for tahr...I would have loved to. A reason to maybe go back some day.

Unfortuantly, no.
We ate some there and it was fantastic.

Did you guys have to pay full boat for the Gold Metal bulls?

Did you go on this trip expecting to pay for Silvers and Golds?

Or, did the adventure get the best of you and you just said, "What the heck, it's only money?"

Just curious, as we're leaving for RSA in a few days. I just spoke with the outfitter's wife and she told me the last two groups in their camp have over-shot their packages in a big way (five animals in the package and people are shooting 8 -12 animals.). She said that you can hardly help it as you are so caught up in the excitement. Scary.

I don't expect you to answer this question, but thought I'd throw it out there just in case.

No, not even close.

Went for Silvers only.

The adventure most definintely got to us in a big way! Hey, we figured we will probably never make it back to NZ so what the hey.

It was a trip that will forever be very special to me for as long as I live.
Dad and I have hunted together for 40yrs and have a special bond that can only be achieved by spending quality time together in the great outdoors. I can only hope and pray that my 2 boys and I will share that same bond.
