Met with Randy and Michelle last night. She still had a smile on her face.

Fantastic....always love to hear stories of a young hunter getting their first harvest. Congrats to both of you.

I sure am jealous of the action. Good job!

Do you guys think it's worth while for a newbie to join WU? I've been thinking about joining a club or something to learn the ropes.

WU stands for Wilderness Unlimited. I think they are an organization that leases private lands and turns around and sells membership to people to have the right to access those lands for hunting, fishing and camping.

Man, great story! I had to wipe a tear from my eye. I wish my kids (my best friends) liked to hunt.

That sounds like a wonderful trip. What a great honor to be able to pass on the great traditions to our children.

Congrats!!!

I am a non-active WU member this year, the drive from San Deigo was wearing me out a bit and already paid for a few out of state hunts this year, leaving no room in the budget for WU. I have had some good hunts in tehachapi at cummings ranch. Is that where you hunted? If so where abouts, just curious as I have hunted that area quite a bit. See any good bucks?

Thanks,

Brian

Yea, that hog came from Cummings, just past the second corral gate by the barley field off to the right.
