As you can see we had a great hunt. It was my daught Caitlin's first hunt ever and she did great . She shot 4 bullets and took 3 hogs and a javelina. I took 5 hogs and a javelina. We took 4 hogs on the first morning and I shot the two small hogs with one bullet. This was not a high fence ranch we just got lucky with the weather , being the first hog hunters in camp and a crap load of hogs this year. I got to learn a new way to strip and clean hogs. The food was good and the guide really helped my daughter out . On one of the sits the guide put Caitlin in a ground blind, went to park the truck and she had a hog down before he got back.

huntingbret. it was $1195 per person for the hunt. that was for 4 days hunting food lodging and guide and airport pickup.. hunt was unlimited hogs and 1 javelina. Airfair for both of us was about $550 but we live in Ohio. And I gave The guide a good tip. He sat with my daughter and helped her .

Darn good harvest Catchdog. Since you took a flight, what hoops did you have to jump through to get the meat back to Ohio?

steve some of the shots were only 40 yards. could have still been a good hunt with a bow. but I'm sure we would not of killed as much. That is part of bow hunting , it's harder.

Mgdeer, I gave most of the mest to the camp. None of it went to wast. I helped clean the hogs and Pete tought me a new way to do things. To bribg meat back on a flight. You just pack it in a cooler and duck tape it good and pay for a extra bag.
