LOPEZ MATEOS, Mexico – Baja California outfitter Gary (Baja on the Fly) Graham has introduced day-trip charter fishing to the famed Thetis Bank off the coast of Lopez Mateos, about two-thirds of the way down Mexico's Baja Peninsula. Until recently Thetis Bank fishing could only be accessed by long-range boats from Southern California or from private yachts large enough to be self-contained. Graham said fishing for striped marlin is especially good in October, November and December when these billfish migrate up and down the West Coast.
