Banded Bald Eagle and a couple redtails..

Seen this eagle fishing over the Chenango River yesterday. Pics look a little blurry because there is a few branches between me and him. I didn't realize he was banded until I got home and put the pics on the computer.

Redtail looking for lunch

This one is perched on one foot - hard to see but his other foot is tucked up by his chest.

Too bad the eagle wasn't a bit sharper. I've never seen one with a band.

Nice shots Dave! I ran the photo through photoshop and did some sharpening and then used the free Neat Image program and it improved a lot. You may want to try it with the whole file. thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys - its not that the bird wasn't in focus - its just that there were a bunch of branches below the bird I was shooting thru that makes it look blurry. I couldn't get a clear shot of him.

Hideandwatch - could you post the pic after you editied it? I'd like to see what it looks like.

That bald eagle is such a majestic bird. Great shots, I really like the one where he is taking flight.
