Hi fellas. I'm looking for an up-to-date book/pamphlet on benchrest shooting. One that takes you from learning how to breath and hold the rifle to neck turnning. headspace, freebore, and developing accurate loads. Anyone know of such a book that been written within the last few years with relatively new bullets and reloading components?

Have you tried the benchrest forum?Bench Rest Central
They'll probably be able to steer you in the right direct for such material.
Thanks Lone Wolf. That's another great site.

Try Sinclair's Precison Reloading & Shooting Handbook and the Brenchrest Primer. The other thing you should do is check out a benchrest match and ask questions.

Shooting benchrest is not as easy as it might appear. The ultimate goal is to put 5 shots all in "One Hole" at 100yd and 200 yds. The world record for 5 shots at 100yds is .009 and its almost impossible to even achieve. Fun game but very frustrating.
